Experience/Skills Required:

Middleware Engineering and Technical Support Analysts provide middleware (SiteMinder, WebSphere, JBoss, Microsoft IIS, Microsoft, etc.) for critical server infrastructure. The Middleware ETS team supports the majority of ExxonMobil’s internet and intranet server infrastructure. Analysts typically begin in a Level 3 / Technical support role (working ticket queues for internet/intranet/server) and rotate into an Engineering role dedicated to projects and viewed as subject matter experts. One platform supported is our “External User Authentication Service”, which allows external users to authenticate into our public DMZ and access internal applications by routing through web servers in the DMZ.
