FUNCTION OF THE WORK GROUP
|
Middleware Engineering and Technical Support Analysts provide
middleware (SiteMinder, WebSphere, JBoss, Microsoft IIS, Microsoft, etc.) for
critical server infrastructure. The Middleware ETS team supports the majority
of ExxonMobil’s internet and intranet server infrastructure. Analysts
typically begin in a Level 3 / Technical support role (working ticket queues
for internet/intranet/server) and rotate into an Engineering role dedicated
to projects and viewed as subject matter experts. One platform supported is
our “External User Authentication Service”, which allows external users to
authenticate into our public DMZ and access internal applications by routing
through web servers in the DMZ.

Work with
project teams on External Authentication platform projects:
1. Design,
Engineer, & Upgrade existing CA product implementation (IdentityMinder /
Siteminder / ADLDS / Wily). Able to work as lead on project from
requirements gathering to implementation.
2.
Add new functionality to existing IAM
& SSO platform (automated identity & access management for
provisioning of new identities, Authminder, Federation services)

Technology: preferred Sailpoint Identity IQ (kicking off a project to
integrate SailPoint IIQ with CA Identity Manager for automated provisioning/
de-provisioning.
• CA
Security Product Suite knowledge, our external authentication service,
specifically:
o Siteminder
aka SSO
o IdentityMinder
aka IdentityManager
o Authminder
aka Strong Auth / Advanced Auth / Arcot
o AD
Federation services with Siteminder SPS
o Wily
(used to monitor the platform)
